Fostering A Staffie
How Fostering Makes A Difference
As a home from home rescue, we are completely reliant on foster carers to help give dogs a second chance. By placing our dogs in foster homes we can get the best possible idea about their personalities, their likes and dislikes and what would be the best home for them.
What do you need to be a foster? – patience and love. Some of our dogs only stay a short time in foster and some have been there for longer but regardless they all just need someone who can help them settle in a new environment and give them the same love they would give to any dog. Our current fosters come in all shapes and sizes, with different lifestyles and we aim to work with our fosters as closely as possible to support them as well as the dogs.
What do we provide – everything apart from the sofa!!! We will cover all costs associated with fostering a dog – that includes food, beds, leads, collars, blankets – even an endless supply of tennis balls if needed. We also cover all vet bills including vaccinations and worming. If you need assistance with transport for a dog then we can take care of that too and we appreciate that humans as well as dogs needs a change of scenery sometimes so will be there to help if you need a holiday.
We are looking for people in Glasgow, Edinburgh or across Central Scotland so if you think you could give a second chance to a dog in need then please fill out the below online application form or complete the application form and send to us via e-mail to email@example.com
